Part-time – 5 days per fortnight; 3-Year contract; $67,575 to $92,844 pa (full-time equivalent)
We are seeking a professional practitioner with experience in composing for the screen to take on this role combining teaching with curriculum development and research. As Lecturer you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor exceptionally talented students. To do this effectively, relevant experience in teaching and/or training, as well as an understanding of music composition, arrangement, recording and production processes, is essential. To be successful you must be an effective communicator with a collaborative approach, and qualifications in a relevant field will be considered an advantage.
Terms: This is a 3-year fixed term part-time position, which has the possibility of becoming full-time. Flexibility in working hours to meet the teaching timetable requirements of the program, including some evening and weekend work, is necessary. This position is only available to an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
The Lecturer role has been identified as potentially working with children. The successful applicant will be required to complete a Working with Children Check. Failure to successfully complete or meet the check requirements may result in termination of appointment.
